Together, we can do more - The VerseOne Innovation Fund

Together, we can do more

VerseOne was founded in 2004 to make a difference to the lives of people that work within and are reliant on services from Social Housing organisations and the NHS.

During this period, we have provided hundreds of transformative Digital Solutions that have truly empowered our customers—who have, in turn, been able to deliver exceptional services and freedom of choice to millions of their customers throughout the UK. Our long-lasting deep partnerships and working collaboratively with our customers have been key to VerseOne’s success.

Being innovative isn’t just about applying technology for the sake of it, rather, it is about taking a "customer-centric" and collaborative approach to how new digital technologies and methodologies are best blended to create outstanding business solutions. Solutions that make a real difference and deliver tangible benefits. We’re not claiming that being innovative is unique to us; but, rather, that it is the unique way in which we approach it that has enabled us to become recognised leaders in our chosen markets.

We are fortunate to have some of the brightest and most creative people in the industry working at VerseOne, we would not have been able to deliver innovation, in the way that we have, without the support and active engagement of our valued customers and business partners.

The VerseOne Innovation Fund is a further extension and a more focused approach to this successful collaborative model. The fund is intended to encourage and bring to fruition, innovative and impactful ideas; with contributions from anyone from within the sectors we specialise in or the broader market. To support this initiative, we have set aside dedicated funds specifically for exploring and, if suitable, nurturing, integrating and embedding any such ideas into our portfolio of products and services—so that these could be fast-tracked into our customer solutions.

In addition to providing seed funding, VerseOne Innovation Fund  can draw upon VerseOne Group’s expertise and specialist resources in software and digital technologies. Providing a range of complementary ‘value add’ services such as incubation accelerated go to market strategy and rapid customer uptake through access to the Group’s large and loyal customer base in Health and Social care sectors.

So if you would like to see some recent examples or work in, or have close involvement with, the Social Housing, NHS or other market sectors we operate in and you have a great and innovative idea that you believe will make a difference then please, Get In Touch  - We’d love to hear from you.

As a further significant step in continuing to deliver on our commitment to the sectors in which we specialise, we also launched our Communities and Charities Fund—set up directly to help and support good causes linked with those local communities that are supported by our customers.

The Communities and Charities Fund is complementary to the Innovation Fund; however, it is not an investment initiative—rather a source of funding to our customers’ existing community support and charitable initiatives.

Alan D Neilson, VerseOne’s Founder and Executive Chairman, explains:

For some time now, and certainly since launching the Innovation Fund, we’ve also been thinking about making a direct difference to good causes and community projects within the NHS and Social Housing sectors—by setting up a Communities and Charities Fund that would make direct contributions towards these.

In outline, the Communities and Charities Fund will be drawn down on a first come first served basis—with any qualifying application being made on behalf of a community project, supported and sponsored by that particular Social Housing or NHS organisation.

VerseOne is delighted to share this initiative with and further support the organisations that do so much for their residents and service users.
