Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (RSCH), renowned for its Outstanding CQC rated maternity services, supports the birth of over 3,000 babies annually.

Recognising that women and parents to be were increasingly using search engines and social media to access information about pregnancy and birth and understanding the value of midwife-led education, RSCH wanted to build a dedicated portal to provide an integrated and safe experience for expectant parents. As their trusted website provider for the last six years, they approached VerseOne to help them remove their reliance on third-party platforms, supporting them to increase women's accessibility to information and parent education safely, whilst also delivering cost savings. In October 2023, in collaboration with VerseOne, they launched their Parent Portal, enhancing digital inclusivity while reinvesting in maternity care.

We believe every woman is important and the Portal has supported us to increase women's access to, and the equity of trusted sources of evidence based information and parent education.
