VerseOne supports Queen Victoria Hospital Charity to recognise hard working hospital staff

VerseOne is supporting Queen Victoria Hospital Charity through a donation that will contribute towards recognising hard working staff at Queen Victoria Hospital.

As the dedicated charity of Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the Charity supports the hospital to hold an annual awards event celebrating the dedication, achievements and long service of staff and, recognising colleagues who make an important difference to patients, fellow staff and the wider hospital community.

The event provides an important opportunity to recognise the compassion, professionalism and commitment show by staff across shown by staff across the Trust every day, and to celebrate the positive impact they have on patients and each other.

The contribution forms part of VerseOne's wider Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitment and ongoing focus on social value and community impact. As part of this initiative, 5% of the value of eligible projects is donated on a matched funding basis to support charitable and community-led initiatives.

The support also reflects a wider focus on staff engagement and recognition across the organisation. As part of the ongoing intranet programme with VerseOne, Queen Victoria Hospital is exploring additional ways to support employee engagement and staff recognition through its digital workplace environment.

This includes recognition capabilities already delivered by VerseOne within other NHS organisations, helping celebrate achievements, improve engagement and strengthen workplace culture.

The Queen Victoria Hospital Star Awards ceremony will take place this summer, celebrating the achievements and contributions of staff throughout the organisation.
