The Social Housing Winter Conference wrapped up to resounding success, with attendees awarding all speakers a perfect five-star rating, capping a day filled with insight, innovation, and collaboration across the social housing sector.
The conference covered a diverse range of topics, from achieving C1 grading and leveraging automation and AI, to improving accessibility, utilising data-driven decision-making, selecting the right KPIs, and maintaining engaged, motivated staff. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore real-life case studies, learning how organisations across the sector are driving meaningful change and innovation.
Highlights included a thought-provoking speaker panel, which examined the insights organisations aim to uncover through data, the KPIs that guide decisions, and the essential role of trust and fairness in operations. The discussion also delved into how technology and AI can measure performance, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement.
Another key theme of the day was the connection between staff and tenant wellbeing. Speakers emphasised that happy teams lead to happy tenants, and explored how technology can support this dynamic while fostering a positive organisational culture.
