VerseOne Housing Roadshow – Manchester

The Social Housing Green Paper is a watershed moment for the social housing sector, focusing on the role it plays moving forward and what the relationship between landlords and tenants should be.

The Green Paper raises a number of important questions, in particular transparency. At its core it asks the question, how do landlords, tenants, government and other stakeholders access information about service quality and the experience of tenants?

One of the most significant suggestions outlined is the introduction of social landlord league tables. These are designed to empower tenants to rank their landlords and thus exposing poorly performing organisations.
