Housing Bill 2022 Forum: Demonstrating Transparency

Event details

Thursday 18 August 2022 12:30

What does it mean for landlords when the bill proposes to give tenants the right to obtain information and to rate services provided? Has there been a greater time to ensure you have the capability and facilities in place to demonstrate transparency? What are you doing and what are others doing?

In the Queens Speech, Prince Charles stated the government would ‘improve the regulation of social housing, strengthen the rights of tenants and ensure better quality safer homes’. Whilst the content of the Housing Bill was already widely known within the sector and many RSL’s have been working towards fulfilling obligations towards the Bill, many are still finding their feet and considering best practice. Now that the Bill approaches the legislative stage, its realities will begin to take centre stage for tenants and associations alike.

Having worked with 50+ housing associations for over a decade, our engagement has shown that providing a platform to discuss sector issues, learn from the experiences of peers and demonstrate how digital strategies can help HAs combat everyday challenges.

To further support the sector, VerseOne are presenting a new series of Housing Bill 2022 Forums, focusing on its key outcomes, to learn and discuss how these can and are being tackled.
